As part of our continued commitment to investing in new talent, Channel 4 is thrilled to announce the launch of our pioneering learning platform and trainee programme Open 4. This new talent initiative offers individuals interested in pursuing a career in factual television production the opportunity to hone their skills and knowledge through 15 innovative online learning modules designed by Channel 4’s Creative Diversity team. 60 aspiring producers from the online course will also be given the chance to attend a 3-week media boot camp; a three month paid internship with an independent production company; gain an accredited Creative Skillset qualification and guaranteed acceptance for the Channel 4 Production Training Programme. Satirical current affairs show 10 O’Clock Live (Zeppotron) has returned for its third series. With a mixture of topical comedy, special-guest interviews and provocative roundtable discussions, the last series covered debates on a wide-range of contemporary issues - including gay marriage rights and phone hacking - and has resonated particularly strongly with amongst younger viewers.
