Unreported World Student Media Event

Unreported World Student Media Event

Event Report

We invited students from all over the UK to come to Channel 4 to get closer to the team behind Channel 4’s critically acclaimed, award winning foreign affairs strand, Unreported World.

Introduced by Commissioning Editor Siobhan Sinnerton, the team, including reporters Seyi Rhodes and Marcel Theroux and members of the Production team from Quicksilver Media, lead a series of workshops designed to share their knowledge and experience with the students.

Niall Couper, Head of Media, PR and Supporter Care for Amnesty International UK and representatives from NUS UK also spoke to the students, as well as Channel 4 News and Unreported World presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
